1. The Nigerian Ministry of Commerce and Industry has notified
Embassy that its delegation to the AGOA Forum in Washington will be
led by Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (MCI) - Ahmed
Garba Bichi. The total delegation is composed of 28 members from
government, the private sector and civil society. The eight person
official delegation includes:
-- Oluwole Rotimi, Nigeria's Ambassador to the U.S.
-- Badeji A. Abikoye, MCI Trade Director Badeji A Abikoye.
-- Aliyu M. Lawal, Acting Executive Director of the Nigerian Export
Promotion Council.
-- Usman A. Kawu, MCI Chief Commercial Officer for AGOA.
-- Adeyemo G. Olubanike, Deputy Comptroller of the Nigerian Customs
Service.
-- Sidi Aliyu Abdullahi, Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
-- Owaiye A Robert, Deputy Director, SMEDAN

2. ECOWAS has notified Embassy that Alfred Mahamadu Braimah,
Director of the Private Sector Office will be the sole ECOWAS
representative at the AGOA Forum.
