Ambassador met August 29 with Minister of Foreign Affairs
Abdelwaheb Abdallah who confirmed he will lead Tunisia's
delegation to UNGA. He plans to depart September 23 or 24
and stay in New York for a week. He would welcome a meeting
with A/S David Welch. He expressed hope there will be an
Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) Foreign Ministers' meeting with the
Under Secretary for Political Affairs as happened last year.
He said the Tunisian speech before the General Assembly is
scheduled for September 29.
