1. Department grants permission for Ambassador Patricia L.
Herbold to be absent from post October 30 - November 1, 2008
and November 5 - 14, 2008 for personal leave in Seattle,
Washington; and for official travel to St. Louis, Missouri
from November 2 - 4, 2008 to attend the F-15SG Roll-out
Ceremony of Boeing Company on November 3, 2008.

2. In Ambassador Herbold's absence, DCM Daniel L. Shields
will serve as the Charge d'Affaires ad interim.
