1. The Department grants permission for Ambassador William E.
Todd to be absent from post December 28, 2008 to January 4,
2009 to travel to Bangkok, Thailand and Singapore on personal
leave with his dependent family members.

2. In Ambassador Todd's absence, DCM John McIntyre will serve
as Charge d'Affaires ad interim.
