Unified Demonstration Against Israel’s Wall

Unified Demonstration Against Israel’s Wall

The International Womens Peace Service (IWPS) , International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and Israeli Anarchists against the Wall will hold a demonstration at the Erez Checkpoint tomorrow afternoon from 3pm onwards.

The Erez Checkpoint is the entrance to the Gaza Strip. For almost one year now, it has been totally closed to all foreigners except diplomatic staff. It is being used as an illegal border post where Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) prevent filmmakers, international solidarity activists, and medical staff from entering Gaza. The IOF is thus able to carry out massacre after massacre inside Gaza, away from the eyes of the world.

The ISM and IWPS are disgusted and horrified that just two days ago, the IOF massacred another 15 Gaza Palestinians.

The international activists will demand an immediate end to the genocide being carried out in Gaza, and will demand to be allowed into Gaza to provide protection for the Palestinians.

Countries represented in the demonstration: South Africa, USA, Denmark, Iceland, England, New Zealand.
