WHY BONO? Over the years, Bono has campaigned for numerous good causes, including Amnesty International, Netaid and the Jubilee 2000 project to end Third World debt. He has the stature to mobilize actors, artists and activists for Palestinian human rights. By endorsing this appeal, let Bono know what you think.

We appeal to you, and all the music world, to speak out now and say: "STOP THE OCCUPATION!" We ask you to help organize a global concert that says:

NO to Israel's illegal occupation of East Jerusalem,
the West Bank and the Gaza Strip

NO to the systematic violation of the Palestinian
people's legal rights and human dignity

YES to a United Nations conference to promote
peace in the Middle East
