Annan Condemns Terror Attack In Saudi Arabia
United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan has condemned "in the strongest possible terms" the terrorist attack this weekend on a residential compound in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Twenty-two people were reportedly killed, many others wounded and scores taken hostage in the incident.
In a statement released today by his spokesman, Mr. Annan voiced hope that the Saudi authorities "will thoroughly investigate this attack and bring the perpetrators to justice."
He also conveyed his condolences
and expressed his sympathy to the families of the victims.
