FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 4, 2004 - Nova Scotia

"Reclaim Your Independence From Corporate Rule!"

"Liberty Bound" - A US Citizen's journey of discovery into the lies, oppression, and corruption that has invaded her country since 9/11.

June 4, 2004

Blue Moose Films announces a Limited Release DVD run of their incendiary documentary entitled "Liberty Bound" to be available for Independence Day, one month from today. Christine Rose, producer and director, says they will only be printing 1,000 copies for this run, so she recommends that people pre-order their DVD to ensure they get a copy.

Blue Moose is currently in negotiations with three domestic distributors for a theatrical release in North America this summer and a DVD/Video release early this fall. Rose claims the reason for this release is an "overwhelming demand" to make the film available from audiences at the numerous well-received screenings "Liberty Bound" has enjoyed.

"People don't want to wait for the truth, they want it now. They want an entertaining informational tool to help educate their friends, families, and organizations before the election this year."

Rose has experienced some of the same "shut out" that infamous muckraker Michael Moore has with his documentary "Fahrenheit 911." Only in the case of Rose, an independent filmmaker without the corporate backing or fame Moore had at his disposal, it was a much more difficult road to distribution. Several US distributors wouldn't touch her film out of fear of political repercussions. Now, a year later, much of the information in "Liberty Bound" is now coming out even in mainstream sources.

"Distributors have become more open to my project because so much of the information contained within has now been reported by the corporate media," explains Rose.

"Liberty Bound" has been picked up for International Distribution outside North America by Take Off of France. It premieres in Paris theatres on June 23rd.

"Liberty Bound" - A US Citizen's journey of discovery into the lies, oppression, and corruption that has invaded her country since 9/11.

"Liberty Bound" takes an entertaining look at America's ongoing struggle to keep a comfortable balance between democracy, capitalism, and fascism. This is a film about historic events that shape history. It is a film about courage and fear; ignorance and knowledge; propaganda and rhetoric.
