ISM Action Alert: Non-violent Activist Arrested in the Middle of the Night

At 12:30AM last night the Israeli Army entered the home of Ahmad Hassan Khalil Awad in Budrus and arrested him.

Ahmad works closely with Abu Ahmad in organizing non-violent civil resistance to the Wall in Budrus and is an active member of the Committee Against the Separation Wall in the Northwest Jerusalem Region.

Ahmad is being held at the Ofer Detention Center near Ramallah.

Please call the detention center and emphasize that Ahmad Hassan Khalil Awad is an active member of the community and involved in non- violent civil resistance and should not be detained. Inquire about his treatment-demand that he be released as soon as possible!

Let them know we are aware of Ahmad's plight!
