Rice with South Korean FA Minister Song Min-Soon

Remarks with South Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Song Min-Soon

Secretary Condoleezza Rice
Washington, DC
March 2, 2007

SECRETARY RICE: Good afternoon.

QUESTION: Madame Secretary, what do you expect to get out of the normalization talks next week?

SECRETARY RICE: Thanks very much. Thank you.

You recognize that this is the beginning of the implementation of the agreement of a couple of weeks ago.

FOREIGN MINISTER SONG: Our two countries are well coordinated and this coordination is giving the good results. And we will commence forward in the process of implementation.

QUESTION: Are you going to meet with Kim Gye Gwan, North Korea?

FOREIGN MINISTER SONG: Well, that's something -- I don't like to comment.

Thank you.
