Invitation-only event is open for press coverage

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, The Honorable Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, will speak at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2:15 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (HST). Prime Minister Najib will speak on the topic of “The Global Movement of Moderates.”

The invitation-only address is open to press coverage, but please note that there is limited space. Final access time for members of the media is 1:00 p.m. HST at:

A mult box will be available for audio feed on a first-come, first serve basis.

Pre-registration is not required for media, but media representatives wishing to attend must present of one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued media identification card (APEC credential, Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification, such as driver's license or passport.
