Fifth. We declare that this meeting is transcendental and historical by the close relationship that unites us as the spiritual journey is guided by the same color of corn and jícuri deer.

Six. That we are continuing to defend our sacred Wirikuta from the mining concessions that seek to destroy our natural resources as an ancient way of life.

Seventh. We offer and ask for respectful treatment of our fellow inhabitants in the protected area of Wirikuta, as our spiritual struggle is not against family welfare and economic survival ,as our cause is to protect the ecosystem and heritage of our Mother Earth.

Eight. We demand that our authorities pay greater attention and sensitivity to the projects through informed and consensual consultation with the people.

Nine. Our appreciation and gratitude to all those people, organizations, civic networks, universities, artists, intellectuals, media, international NGOs who have supported this cause in solidarity with us, making us feel that we are not alone in this fight, we leave together and will arrive together to close this cycle with a good ending.

Tenth. Finally we inform the public that the Wixárika people are united, on the basis of a spiritual struggle, that does not permit us to allow our cultural heritage to die, because of our coexistence with our ancestors and with Mother Earth
