Vote Auckland Airport – Support Your City! |
||
22 February 2012
In the final week of voting, Auckland Airport is asking all Aucklanders to support their airport as one of the top ten in the world, in the 2012 SKYTRAX World Airport Awards.
As New Zealand's largest airport gateway, Auckland Airport came in at eighth place last year, and is ranked the top airport in the Australia Pacific region – and they want your help to stay on top and beat the Aussies again!
Welcoming and farewelling almost 14 million passengers every year, the Airport has retained its global placing as a result of continuous improvements, upgrades and service enhancements.
To vote for your favourite airport, head to www.betterjourneys.co.nz.
NB: The 2011 SKYTRAX World Airport Awards were based on survey results from 11.38 million questionnaires completed by more than 100 different nationalities of airline passengers in 2010/2011, covering more than 240 airports worldwide. The survey evaluates traveller experiences across 39 parts of the airport experience, from check-in, arrivals, to trolleys, cleanliness and the shopping experience. The survey is held in high esteem for its clarity of process, independence and rigorously applied rules.
