Obama Warns Assad
Editor,
US President Barack Obama warned Syrian President Basher Assad not to use chemical weapons on his own people because that is "totally unacceptable". He said the world was watching and there would be "consequences" (ABC news 4/12).
Should we take it that the killing of civilians by other means like bombing them from the air is relatively more acceptable?
Does it make a difference to the Syrian civilians how the Syrian State is slaughtering them?
Yours sincerely,
Rajend
