Tikkun Supplement for Passover Seder or Easter Celebration

Tikkun to heal, repair and transform the world

A note from Rabbi Michael Lerner Join or Donate Now!

Read our Passover Seder Haggadah Supplement at http://www.tikkun.org/nextgen/for-your-passover-seders-or-easter-gatherings.

Useful for Easter too--share it with your friends!

Passover and Easter celebrate the renewal or resurrection of hope. And our Passover Seder supplement should be useful to Christians as well as Jews--in fact, anyone who is going to participate in or shape a celebration of Spring in the coming weeks. Though it is shaped as a Supplement to the traditional Passover Seder, it can be equally valuable to secular humanists, Christians, and spiritual-but-not-religious people as well! Many Christians know that "the Last Supper" was actually a Passover Seder, and our version of the Seder will give you a feel for what it might have been like to do a Seder with Jesus--a revolutionary spiritual progressive Jew (no, we are not "Jews for Jesus"--but he was one of our Jewish prophets whom many Jews are now seeking to reclaim as our flawed but inspired brother). Anyway, this Passover supplement is not about Jesus, but it might have important elements that Christians might want to add to their Easter-time celebration, and many elements that Jews could use to make this year's Passover Seder the most memorable and spirfitually alive one they ever attended (and if you do use it in whole or part, please contact me afterwards to tell me how it went: RabbiLerner.tikkun@gmail.com)

So Read it (and copy it and share it with friends) at www.tikkun.org

It's free--my gift to you, and a sample of the kind of thinking we do in Tikkun magazine (the print version is different from what you get for free on line at tikkun.org), in our Network of Spiritual Progressives (interfaith and atheist and and spiritual-but-not-religious secular humanists welcoming) www.spiritualprogressives.org, and our Berkeley and SF-based Beyt Tikkun Synagogue-Without Walls at www.beyttikkun.org. It's also free to get Tikkun Daily blog at http://www.tikkun.org/tikkundaily/join-tikkun-daily/ .

If you end up feeling inspired by the Passover/Easter supplement, you already are a spiritual progressive--so why not JOIN (tax-deductible, plus you get free the print edition of Tikkun magazine with your membership) at https://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/525/t/3999/shop/custom.jsp?donate_page_KEY=3793
