Issued by the National Emergency Operations Centre at 0900 hrs on 8 April 2014


The Tropical Cyclone ITA that causes Heavy rain and strong winds that triggered Flash Flooding is being cancelled.

The system poses no further threat to the Solomon Islands.

AN ALL CLEAR STATEMENT IS NOW BEING GIVEN FOR PEOPLE THAT IT IS NOW SAFE TO FREELY MOVE

The National Emergency Operations Centre at the National Disaster Management Office advises people near the rivers and waterways that it is now safe.

No updates or further information will be issued unless the situation changes.
