UN Publishes Findings on Racial Discrimination

UN Committee On the Elimination of Racial Discrimination Publishes Findings on Serbia, Algeria, Jordan, Australia, Slovakia And Belarus

GENEVA (8 December 2017) – The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination has published its findings on the countries it examined during its latest session from 20 November to 8 December: Serbia, Algeria, Jordan, Australia, Slovakia and Belarus.

The findings contain positive aspects of how the respective State is implementing the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), highlight main matters of concern and make recommendations.

CERD’s next session will be from 23 April to 11 May 2018 to review Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Nepal, Peru, Saudi Arabia and Sweden. More information here:
