In the north and west from
Northland to Taranaki also for the
central plateau: One
or two showers continuing about and north
of Auckland,
elsewhere becoming mostly fine.
For the remainder of the North Island: Mainly fine weather.
For Nelson,
Marlborough and Canterbury: Fine weather with
some
morning fog about Canterbury.
For the South Island West
Coast: Becoming cloudy with late
rain developing about
Fiordland.
For Otago and Southland: Fine and frosty at
first but high
cloud increasing during the day with rain
developing in the
far west tonight.
For the Chatham Islands: A few showers.
