Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow.

In the north and west from Northland to Taranaki also for the
central plateau: One or two showers continuing about and north
of Auckland, elsewhere mostly fine. Tomorrow cloud increasing,
scattered rain developing over Northland during the afternoon and
spreading further south towards the end of the day.

For Bay of Penty and in the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mostly
fine today. Tomorrow cloud increasing but remaining dry.

Wanganui to Wellington, also for Nelson: Fine today. Cloud increasing
tomorrow with showers towards evening.

Marlborough and Canterbury: Fine apart from coastal cloud today.
A southwest change spreading north during tomorrow with brief showers.

For the South Island West Coast: Cloud increasing. Rain developing
about Fiordland towards evening. Tomorrow rain working further north then
gradually becoming fine from the south.

For Otago and Southland: Cloud increasing later today with rain in the far
west tonight. Rain spreading elsewhere early tomorrow then gradually
clearing from the south.

For the Chatham Islands: Showers, less frequent tomorrow.
