Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight.

For all the North Island also Nelson: Fine weather for much
of the day but cloud and rain developing about Northland from
this evening with high cloud spreading in to areas north of
Taupo.

For Marlborough and Canterbury: Fine and frosty with morning
fog patches and light winds however showers and cold southerly
winds spread in to south Canterbury tonight.

Along the west coast of the South Island: Cloud increasing
with showers developing about Fiordland and spreading further
north from evening.

In Otago and Southland: Cloud increasing with showers and a
cold southerly change spreading north this evening. Some
snow may fall to low levels about the ranges tonight.

Chatham Islands: Showers at times.
