For Northland and Auckland: Showers clearing overnight and mostly
fine tomorrow.

In the west from Waikato to Manawatu, also for the central
plateau: and Bay of Plenty: Brief showers about northern Waikato
today, elsewhere fine apart from cloudy periods.

In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers retreating to the
north today with fine periods increasing from the south. Tomorrow
showers may become widespread for a time.

Wellington: Fine today. Brief showers tomorrow.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Fine frosty conditions apart
from brief showers to southern Fiordland.

For Marlborough and Canterbury: A period of brief coastal showers
tomorrow otherwise fine and frosty.

In Otago and Southland: Cloud and light showers about the south
coast spreading elsewhere for a time early tomorrow.

Chatham Islands: Showers.
