Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow.

For the North Island, also for Nelson, Buller and Marlborough: Fine weather continuing in most places. Remaining showers clearing from Gisborne this afternoon. Frosty overnight again from Auckland south. Later tomorrow cloudy periods increasing in the west from Taranaki to Wellington.

Westland and Fiordland: Showers about the fiords from evening spreading as far as the glaciers later tomorrow. Elsewhere cloud increasing.

Canterbury: Fine frosty conditions. Areas of high cloud tomorrow.

Otago and Southland: Cloudy about the south coast. A few showers there from early tomorrow. Inland fine and frosty today but rather cloudy and dry tomorrow.

Chatham Islands: A few showers.
