Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

For the north Island including Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury: Mainly fine tonight with frosts in most places. Fine again tomorrow but a few cloudy periods from Taranaki to Manawatu.

Buller, Westland and Fiordland: Mainly fine north of Haast but cloudy with the odd shower further south. Tomorrow, rain in Fiordland, cloudy elsewhere.

Otago and Southland: Fine tonight apart from the odd shower about Foveaux Strait. Showers and southwesterlies developing tomorrow.

Chatham Island: Cloud and fine breaks for the remainder of today. A few showers developing tomorrow afternoon.
