Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow.

For Northland, Coromandel Peninsula and Bay of Plenty: A mix of fine and cloudy periods. A few showers tomorrow turning to rain over parts of Northland later.

For Auckland and remaining North Island areas: Mostly fine weather but north of the central plateau high cloud increasing tomorrow.

South Island west coast: A few light showers in the south of Fiordland. A mix of cloudy and fine spells elsewhere.

Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury: Cloudy night and morning with areas of fog otherwise fine.

Otago and Southland: Mostly fine inland. Showers about Foveaux Strait spreading to Otago Peninsula at times.

Chatham Islands: Brief showers.
