Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow.

From Northland to Manawatu, also for Bay of Plenty and the central plateau: Mostly cloudy for the remainder of today with a few showers. A few further showers tomorrow but fine periods increasing.

For Gisborne to Wairarapa: High cloud but remaining mostly dry but a few showers spreading off the ranges about southern Hawkes Bay. Tomorrow, brief morning rain clearing and becoming fine.

For Wellington: Mostly cloudy skies for the remainder of today with the odd shower possible. Mostly fine tomorrow.

In Nelson and Marlborough: Cloudy with the odd shower today. Tomorrow, one or two morning showers clearing.

For the South Island west coast: Rain or showers for much of the time.

For Canterbury and Otago: Mostly cloudy weather with fine periods developing tomorrow.

In Southland: Mainly cloudy with patchy rain possible. Becoming mostly fine tomorrow.

For Chatham Islands: Rain or showers at times.
