For mainland New Zealand: Fine and frosty for most.
Showers in eastern North Island areas becoming confined to
coastal places during the day and becoming mainly fine inland.
Remaining showers also clearing from Wellington this morning.
Some early cloud about coastal Marlborough and from evening
cloud building over southern Fiordland.

Chatham Islands: Showers dying out but cloudy periods
persisting.
