Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to
midnight tonight:

The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Wellington, also for the central plateau and Bay of Plenty: Rain spreading to most places this morning, easing to showers later.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: High cloud increasing with rain developing about the main ranges and a few falls spreading further east during the afternoon.

Nelson and the west coast of the South Island: Rain widespread with a few heavy falls this morning easing to showers from the south later.

Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago and Southland: Rain in the Alps and western ranges spreading elsewhere this morning then showers becoming confined to the south coast. Fine periods increasingin most other places.

Chatham Islands: Mainly fine.
