Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight:

The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Wellington,
also for the volcanic plateau and Bay of Plenty:
Rain becoming persistent and widespread. Heavy falls likely from
northern Taranaki to Waikato this afternoon and evening.

In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Patchy rain from later
today.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Rain becoming widespread
this morning. Expect heavy falls in Buller and the western ranges
of Nelson.

Marlborough to Otago also for Southland: A period of rain this
morning over Southland and Otago spreading north to reach
Canterbury and Marlborough later.

Chatham Islands: Showers becoming few and far between.
