Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight:

Northland, Auckland, Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty and
Taupo: Rain easing to showers later today.

Western areas from Waitomo to Wellington, also for the central
plateau: Rain easing to showers this morning from Taranaki/
central high country southwards, elsewhere falls continuing for
much of the day.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Brief rain spreading east from the ranges
at times. Later southerlies and showers working north.

Nelson and Marlborough: Rain clearing this morning but showers
persisting for a time about the Kaikoura Coast.

South Island west coast: Rain easing to showers in most places but
south of the glaciers rain setting in again tonight.

Canterbury, Otago and Southland: A mix of cloudy and fine periods.
Showers about the south coast may become more widespread later.

Chatham Islands: Rain at times.
