From Northland to Taranaki, also for the central plateau:
Showery conditions. Longer fine periods developing about the
central high country.

Bay of Plenty/Rotorua, also from Wanganui to Wellington and
Nelson: Fine weather.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Brief coastal showers this morning
otherwise mainly fine.

Marlborough and Canterbury: A few showers affecting Banks
Peninsula, Elsewhere fine.

South Island west coast: Fine apart from showers about the
Fiords.

Otago and Southland: Cloudy periods, showery about the south
Coast and Stewart Island.

Chatham Islands: Cold and showery.
