Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

For the north and west of the North Island from Northland to Wellington, also for the central plateau and Bay of Plenty: Cloud increasing. Showers spreading to most places today. Becoming fine tomorrow.

In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers about Wairarapa spreading slowly north, reaching Gisborne in the evening. Becoming fine tomorrow.

Nelson and Marlborough: Cloudy with scattered rain slowly clearing from the south today. Fine tomorrow.

South Island west coast: Rain gradually clearing from Westland northward during the day, further south mostly cloudy. Tomorrow, patchy rain about Fiordland with cloudy periods further north.

Canterbury: Skies clearing inland but some cloud about the coast. Drizzle there from tonight. Mainly fine inland tomorrow but cloudy about the coast chiefly morning and night.

Otago and Southland: Becoming fine inland today but cloudy about the coast. Tomorrow, high cloud increasing but remaining dry.

Chatham Islands: Cloudy with the odd light shower.
