Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight:

Northland , Auckland and Coromandel Peninsula: A few showers but
longer fine spells developing.

Bay of Plenty: Becoming fine.

Waikato to Manawatu, also the central plateau: Cloudy periods
with the odd shower near the eastern ranges.

Gisborne to Wairarapa, also for Wellington: Showers easing north
of Mahia, elsewhere cloudy periods with the odd shower at times.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Fine apart from cloudy
periods about Nelson and Buller at first.

Marlborough and Canterbury: A few light coastal showers otherwise
long fine spells.

Otago and Southland: Becoming fine.

Chatham Islands: Showery.
