Weather Workshop: All Districts forecast for NZ

All Districts forecast from Weather Workshop:

The Situation: A broad trough to the east continues to move
away. A ridge of high pressure is expected to move northwards
over the country today as another trough become more organized
in the south Tasman Sea.

And now the forecast to midnight tonight:

NORTHLAND, AUCKLAND, COROMANDEL PENINSULA, WAIKATO, WAITOMO,
TAUMARANUI, TARANAKI, BAY of PLENTY/ROTORUA, TAUPO, TAIHAPE,
WANGANUI and MANAWATU: Fine in most places but cloudy at
times, especially about Northland and Auckland. Light winds.

GISBORNE, HAWKES BAY, WAIRARAPA: Showers becoming less frequent
in Gisborne as the day goes on. Further south remaining light
showers clearing and becoming fine. Southerlies gradually dying
out.

WELLINGTON: Light showers about the eastern ranges clearing by
afternoon. Elsewhere fine. Southerlies dying out and northerlies
developing late in the day.

NELSON: Fine with light winds.

BULLER, WESTLAND and FIORDLAND: Cloud increasing with a few falls
of rain south of the glaciers. Northerlies strengthening about
Fiordland but further north winds fairly light.

MARLBOROUGH and CANTERBURY: Remaining light coastal showers north
of Banks Peninsula soon clearing and fine elsewhere. Light winds
inland, northeasterlies developing in coastal areas.

OTAGO and SOUTHLAND: Mostly fine after a frosty start. Expect an
increase in high cloud from over Southland and parts of
Otago later. North to northeast winds.

CHATHAM ISLANDS: Continuing cold and showery but with southerlies
slowly easing.

THE OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW: Cloudy in the west of both islands with
rain affecting the South Island west coast. Late showers possible
from Taranaki to Wellington. Fine in most eastern places but brief
showers are possible about the coast from Banks Peninsula southward.
At the Chathams further showers with southwest winds freshening.
