Western Springs speedway review update

Progress on the review to determine the best practical options for Speedway has been delayed, as the investigation into noise effects has taken longer than anticipated.

A report on the review from Mr Peter Salmon QC is now expected by early August 2006. This will inform future decision-making by council.

In the meantime, Speedway has developed a schedule of events for next season which meet the terms of the mediated settlement reached in October last year.
