Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 17 June to Friday 23 June

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for the construction of the Northern Busway over the next week (weather permitting).

1. Sunday 18 June until Thursday 22 June
ALL SH1 SOUTHBOUND MOTORWAY LANES
BETWEEN CONSTELLATION DRIVE AND TRISTRAM AVE– CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning to allow for pavement widening works:
- Motorists to access the motorway southbound at Tristram Ave, Northcote Rd or Esmonde Road on-ramps.
- As part of this closure the Constellation Drive SH1 southbound on-ramp will be closed.
- Diversion routes will be sign posted.

2. Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 June
NORTHCOTE RD INTERCHANGE
NORTHCOTE RD SH1 SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning to allow for pavement repair works:
- Motorists to use Onewa Rd southbound off-ramp as an alternative

3. Wednesday 21 June
NORTHCOTE RD INTERCHANGE
NORTHCOTE RD EASTBOUND BETWEEN THE NORTHBOUND RAMPS AND TAHAROTO RD – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am Thursday to allow for pavement repair works:
- Motorists to access the motorway northbound at Tristram Ave or Constellation Drive
- Diversion routes will be sign posted for local traffic

4. Tuesday 20 June
NORTHCOTE ROAD INTERCHANGE
NORTHCOTE RD WESTBOUND BETWEEN THE SOUTHBOUND RAMPS AND THE NORTHBOUND RAMPS – CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am Wednesday to allow for pavement repair works:
- Westbound traffic should use alternative routes

Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
