Wanted - One Stuffed Dog

This year¹s Nelson Arts Festival crew needs a stuffed Alsatian.

The stuffed dog is a prop in the Australian comedy/theatre/dance show Blue
Love that stages at the Suter Theatre during the arts festival in October.

Technical Director Antony Hodgson says he¹s sourcing props locally for the
Aussie shows to save on freight:

³A stuffed dog would also be quite hard to get through customs,² he says.
³I¹ve emailed every taxidermist in New Zealand but right now I¹m on a hot
lead of a stuffed dog that was spotted recently at the Blenheim dump!²

Antony is also looking for a 70's dining table and chairs complemented with
a curved domestic bar a dining suite in keeping, and for the Canterbury
Œcoming of age¹ drama Peninsula he needs two old black wall mounted
telephones and a vintage brown leather rugby ball - these were loaned by the
Ferrymead Museum when the play was staged as part of the Christchurch Arts
Festival.
