CMJ traffic bulletin: Sunday 13 May until Thursday 17 May

Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.

Ramp and link closures:
Sunday 13 May – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for repair work:
* Southern Motorway (SH1) to Nelson St off-ramp citybound

Sunday 13 and Monday 14 May – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for repair work:
* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Northern Motorway (SH1) northbound
* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Nelson Street

Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 May – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for repair work:
* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to Newton Rd off-ramp citybound

During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.

In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
