Free Fieldays tickets from Rural Network
Newly-launched agricultural website The Rural Network is giving away 50 tickets to Fieldays 2007.
Starting today, the site is giving away five tickets each weekday to people who email comments to Rural Network editor Philippa Stevenson.
Stevenson is also encouraging farmers and growers to contribute to the Dig ‘n’ Stir blog section and make their views heard.
Developed by Dow AgroSciences, www.ruralnetwork.co.nz enables rural dwellers to connect with one another online and create virtual communities.
The site, which launched last Monday, also offers all the farming news, views and information rural people need at a one-stop information gateway.
To meet the needs of the wide range of New Zealand rural communities, www.ruralnetwork.co.nz is customisable by region and farming type. It has been specially developed to work well on the dial-up internet connections prevalent in country areas.

Notes to
Editors:
Fieldays runs from 13-16 June.
Fieldays
tickets will be given to the first five people who comment
each day. Winners will be contacted via email.
People
wanting to see The Rural Network in action, or find out more
about the site, can visit the Dow AgroSciences stand at
Fieldays, register and be in to win a Suzuki Trojan
motorbike.
The development of the Rural Network has been funded by Dow AgroSciences, with the site built by G2, a division of Grey Worldwide. Dow AgroSciences considers itself just one of a number of sponsors of the site and plans to open up advertising space to other rural suppliers.
