Southwestern motorway (SH20) traffic bulletin: Transit New Zealand advises motorists that the following closures will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20):

SH20 westbound between Queenstown Road and Hillsborough Road from 8.00pm Thursday 9 August until 5.30am Friday 10 August

This closure is to allow for construction at Hillsborough Road as part of SH20 Mt Roskill Extension.

Motorists are advised to drive with care and follow the clearly signposted detours:

Heading to Auckland City and West Auckland use Queenstown Road, Herd Road and Hillsborough Road

Heading to Manukau City via SH20 eastbound use Queenstown Road, Frederick Street, Carlson Street and Hillsborough Road
