Bag a Bargain at the Bookfair

Thousands of keen book buyers will pour through the doors of the TSB Bank Arena this weekend at another amazing Bookfair.

Books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records and much more is all on sale at unbelievable prices from 9am till 5pm on Saturday and 10am till 4pm Sunday.

A last minute rush of donations has seen the collection total from last year beaten considerably, says Bookfair organiser David Cross.

He says, “There’s a huge range of high quality books, audio and visual media on sale. Everyone coming along will find what they’re looking for. Entry is free, you’ll get some amazing bargains, and you know you’re supporting a great cause”.

The Bookfair is now in its 11th Year and raises important funds for social service agency Downtown Community Ministry.

Mr Cross credits the Bookfair’s success to the quality of books on sale, the base price of just $2 and Wellington’s support of DCM’s work.
