SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing

The NZ Transport Agency wishes to advise that, weather permitting, the following closures will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20).

Wednesday 17 September - Thursday 18 September
All motorway lanes southbound between Rimu Road overbridge and Walmsley Road interchange closed from 9pm until 5am the following morning.

Detour via Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road southbound off-ramp to Mahunga Drive, Walmsley Road and Walmsley Road southbound on-ramp.

All motorway lanes northbound between Walmsley Road interchange and Rimu Road overbridge closed from 9:30pm until 5am the following morning.

Detour via Coronation Road northbound off-ramp to Coronation Road, Rimu Road and Rimu Road northbound on-ramp.

This work is to install beams across one span of the Rimu Road overbridge.

Motorists are advised to allow an extra 30 minutes travel time and follow the signposted detour routes.

The NZ Transport Agency regrets any inconvenience caused.
