Auckland Civil Defence monitoring the weather situation

The Auckland Region Emergency Management Office is monitoring the current Auckland weather situation.

The MetService issued a severe rain warning yesterday with the heaviest of rain expected later this afternoon and early this evening.

Auckland people should watch out for rapidly rising streams and rivers, flooding, and hazardous driving conditions.
