WINK 2 PARTY ANNOUNCED

Auckland, New Zealand, June 10, 2010 – SM Walker Productions today announced WINK 2, the second singles and networking event in the WINK Series.

WINK differs from other singles and networking parties in that it is not another lame social event with a cheesy name, the smell of desperation in the air, and inhabited by the social inept. WINK is something different, exclusive, where there is no pressure.

It can be hard to meet new people in Auckland. Auckland is a large and spread-out city and the options for meeting new people can feel limited. The night club scene feels like its for under 25’s, pubs are full of aging jocks, and internet dating can make you sick of the crazies that you encounter.

Traditional singles events have often been a letdown. The same old ugly people turning up to boring singles events, with forced conversations and sleazy men. No wonder they have such a bad rep.

With this in mind, SM Walker Productions created WINK; A networking event for sexy young professionals that is not a ’singles’ party per se, but a new way for attractive people to broaden horizons and meet new people like them; whether they were new business partners, friends, or lovers, in an atmosphere that is relaxed, ambient and simple.

WINK 2 builds on the success of the first WINK party, where fifty young professionals gathered for a night of fun and mingling on a warm summer’s night in March 2010.

The event date for WINK 2 is Friday 2nd of July 2010. WINK 2 is one of the first events to take advantage of the brand new wine & cocktail bar, Hitch, No.3 Fort Lane, Auckland CBD. To gain entry event-goers must bring a friend of the opposite sex. Cost is $20 on the door and event-goers get their first house drink is free.
