Earthquake reported near Porangahau

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 has been reported 20km south east of Porangahu at 10.48am this morning.

Local civil defence authorities have advised us that there is no reported damage or injury. We will review the situation as required. The National Crisis Management Centre will keep in close contact with local civil defence authorities.
