The Fire Service has responded to 150 incidents related to flooding in the Northern Region (Northland, Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty).

· Over 80 incidents have been dealt with in the Auckland Region alone.

· 10 incidents on the Coromandel Peninsula and 45 in the Bay of Plenty.

111 calls are still being received - largely now for the Rotorua and Taupo areas as the system moves south.

The concern still is with Herald Island tonight and the high tide which is predicted at midnight.
