Full Closure of State Highway 1 Northbound – From Nelson St to SH16 Onramp

The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that State Highway 1 (SH1), northbound, from Nelson St to the SH16 Onramp, will be closed this evening Wednesday 1 June, for emergency repairs to a damaged bridge joint. The work will be carried out between 9.30pm and 5am.

NZTA will have detours in place via Nelson St and Wellesley St and drivers are asked to follow the signposted routes.
