Wellington Airport Easter weekend traffic

Easter is one of Wellington Airport’s busiest times of the year.

Wellington Airport requests that all non-airport traffic use the alternative routes available to avoid congestion, rather than driving through the airport road, as a courtesy to passengers.

If you are travelling please plan to arrive at the airport 15 minutes earlier than usual due to the high number of travellers during this period
