Snow issues

The Avondale Earthquake Assistance Centre (EAC), based at the Avondale golf course, is closed today.

The building is accessed by a long sloping ramp which is proving too hazardous to walk on in the snow.

It will reopen tomorrow.

The CBD Red Zone remains open and operational today, however some contractors may assess their own work programmes if the heavy snow continues.
