SH2 Mangatawhiri, Waikato: Serious crash

Two persons are deceased after a two-car crash on SH 2, Mangatawhiri, at about 1.20pm today.
The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.

Emergency services are at the scene. Diversions are in place at Koheroa Rd for northbound traffic, and the SH1/SH2 northbound turnpike.

No further details are available until next-of-kin have been notified.

The Counties-Manukau Serious Crash Unit is conducting the crash investigation and any further releases will be made through their office.
