Get your 'Quick Fix' at the Unitec Theatre

Short and sharp plays penned by Unitec writing students and directed and performed by their fellow students will come to life at the Unitec Theatre on 21-24 June.

Quick Fix is the Unitec Department of Performing and Screen Arts' annual stage production where up to 21 short plays/scenes are performed, displaying the originality of the students who create them. Many of New Zealand's top emerging young writers and playwrights have come through Unitec; Sam Shore and Joseph Harper, just to name a few.

Renowned Kiwi playwright, Gary Henderson, who was a mentor to many of these writing graduates has now passed on the baton to Stuart Hoar from Playmarket, who is supervising this year's Quick Fix production together with directing supervisor and well-known actor, Elizabeth Hawthorne. Quick Fix is a glimpse into the minds of our young writers and directors. If you're into original storytelling in an intimate, yet raw setting, then we invite you to the Unitec Theatre in Carrington Rd, Mt Albert, Auckland to glimpse the future.
